Running an event for a cause
A club, business or individual hosting a tournament that raises money for a verified nonprofit, which approves the event.
- Free when the registration money goes to the nonprofit
- Or keep the entry fee for courts and prizes and add a donation line: players pay a $4 or 6% service fee on the entry, and the donation goes to the nonprofit with no fee

Any organizer keeping the registration money.

- Online registration: players pay a service fee of $4 or 6% of the entry fee, whichever is more; you keep your entry fee
- Free-to-play events with online sign-up: $1.50 per registration, or included in the monthly plan
Questions
How do you know we're a nonprofit?
Enter your EIN when you register your organization. Most 501(c)(3)s are verified against IRS records in a few seconds. If the automatic check can't match you, upload your IRS determination letter and a person reviews it.
Do we need a Stripe account?
Not today. Running a tournament from a spreadsheet of players needs no Stripe at all. When online registration opens, you'll connect a free Stripe account so entry fees reach your organization.
Can we use our own registration form?
Yes. Collect sign-ups however you like and import a spreadsheet of players. Here's what the spreadsheet needs, with a sample file.
