How it works
From sign-up to final whistle, in four steps.
Game On for Giving is free tournament-day software for nonprofits. Here's what happens once you click Create, and what to have ready.
- 1
Create a free account
All it takes is an email address. It's the same sign-in your fellow organizers will use, and the only one you'll need.
- 2
Register your nonprofit, once
Legal name, EIN, website and mailing address, plus you as the authorized representative. Most 501(c)(3)s are verified against IRS records in a few seconds. If the automatic check can't match you, upload your determination letter and a person reviews it, usually within a day. You can set up your event while you wait.
- 3
Set up your event
Name, date, venue, formats (singles, doubles, pools, brackets), how many players you expect and what the money is for. Events are approved the moment you submit, and you get an address like gameonforgiving.com/your-tournament with your name, logo and colors.
- 4
Run tournament day from any phone
Bring your registrations in by CSV from any sign-up form. Form teams, build pools and brackets, put games on courts and times, and let volunteers check players in and keep score. Standings and brackets update live for everyone watching.
What it costs
- Tournament-day toolkit: free
- Import, check-in, teams, pools, brackets, courts, scoring, live standings and print-outs. No limits on events or players.
- Online registration: coming soon
- Players will sign up, and pay if there's an entry fee, on your event page, free for verified nonprofits. Until then, collect sign-ups on any form and import the spreadsheet.
Have these ready
- Your organization's legal name and EIN
- Its website and mailing address
- The event date, venue and roughly how many players you expect
- A sentence on what the event raises money for
Taking sign-ups on your own form?
If players register through Google Forms, Eventbrite, Bloomerang or your own site, export a spreadsheet (CSV) and import it on your event's Admin page. Ask these questions on your form and the export will import as it is.
