Importing a spreadsheet of players
The columns the import reads, with a sample file.
What should the file look like?
One row per player with a header row, saved as CSV. Only a name is required; column order doesn't matter and the usual header variations work, so most exports from Google Forms, Eventbrite or Bloomerang import as they are.
| Column | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| First Name, Last Name(required) | Emma, Kane | Or one Full Name column. The only thing required. |
| emma.kane@example.com | Can be blank (youth players) or shared by a parent who signed several people up. | |
| Phone | (515) 555-0101 | |
| Division | Intermediate | Use the same division names you'll set up for the event. |
| DUPR Rating | 3.4 | Optional. |
| Partner | Lily Tran | Who they're playing with. Two players who name each other are paired automatically. |
| Team Name | The Dill Pickles | Optional; we name teams when it's blank. |
| Bringing Kids, Number of Kids | Yes, 2 | For the kids' check-in list. |
| Payment Status | Paid | Paid, Comp/Sponsored or Refunded. |
| Amount Paid, Registration Date | 35, 8/12/2026 | For your records and the dashboard totals. |
Where do I import it?
On the event's Admin page. Importing again updates players instead of duplicating them, so you can re-import as sign-ups come in.
How are teams made?
Two players who name each other as partners are paired automatically. Anyone left over is paired by hand on the same page.
